Thomas (Weifan) Mon, is an associate patent attorney at Goldstein Patent Law. He specializes in drafting and prosecuting computer and software related patent applications.

Thomas has a lifelong love of computers and gadgetry, and is a firm believer in the power of technology to improve the world in ways both great and small. Thomas greatly enjoys working with inventors and learning about their inventions, and is driven to help them obtain the patent rights they need to protect their ideas and innovations.

After obtaining a degree in Computer Science, Thomas spent several years working in Information Technology. Fascinated by how some highly publicized patent disputes shaped the formative years of the smartphone revolution, Thomas was inspired to apply to law school with the dream of becoming a patent attorney.  Thomas fulfilled his dream of becoming a patent attorney by graduating from the Rutgers Law School – Newark and being admitted to practice before the United States Patent Office.

In his spare time, Thomas enjoys spending time with his family and is an avid fan of science fiction.
